Charlie's Story

Charlie is a real orange tabby and really does live with his family just as you see them here.

He is exceptionally loving, gentle as a lamb, but also fiercely courageous. I call him Battle Cat, Zippy calls him Tiger, Bug calls him Pumpkin, and Abuela just calls him to dinner.

Abuela and Zippy talk on the phone often, and somewhere along the way they came up with Charlie's imaginary alter ego. Zippy named him Charlie Orange Juice (she was four), and the imaginary adventures began.

It all evolved into a poster... then a few comics that we snail-mailed to her every week... and eventually into this website, created for one purpose, and one purpose only...

We figured if Charlie could make one little girl smile every week, maybe he could make a few other people smile too.
